Chongqing- The total value of the foreign trade in southwestern China's Chongqing Municipality over the first eleven months of 2020 amounted to 589.4 billion yuan (about USD 90.18 billion), increased by 12.1% compared to that of last year, official data showed Saturday.
During this time, exports in Chongqing increased by 12.2% to 379.45 billion, while imports grew 12% to 209.95 billion, according to the Chongqing Customs.

In the month of November, imports and exports in Chongqing reached a new high of 66.64 billion for the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 18.7%. Exports accounted for 46.84 billion yuan of this figure with an increase of 24.2% and imports grew by 7.3% to 19.8 billion.
Over the past eleven months, imports and exports with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries increased by 5.4% to reach 102.49 billion, while imports and exports to the EU and US totaled a respective 97.51 and 96.94 billion, representing increases of 11.3% and 7.2% correspondingly.

Electronic information products were the main import and export goods in Chongqing during this period. The export value of notebook computers, integrated circuits, and mobile phones increased by 14.8%, 24%, and 2.9 times in scale respectively, totaling 193.82 billion yuan.
At the same time, the import value of integrated circuits, automatic data processing equipment, as well as audio and video equipment showed respective increases of 19.4%, 4.3%, and 1.1 times in scale, totaling 122.99 billion.
