Latest ‘Name Card’ for Urban Chongqing ⑤: The Smart Park

Chongqing — On January 21, Chongqing municipal government's work report mentioned the construction of six "latest name cards," among which Lijia-Yuelai Smart Park was on the list. As its name said, "smart" is the biggest highlight of this new business card. Chongqing people will experience a smart life full of science and technology here.

Lijia Smart Park

Lijia-Yuelai Smart Park is located on the northwest side of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, next to Jialing River's bank. It is composed of Lijia Peninsula and Yuelai area. The future construction plan is guided by key platforms such as Lijia Yuelai Smart Park, Liangjiang Digital Economy Industrial Park, and Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone, actively exploring and building a national smart city model, and striving to develop Lijia-Yuelai District into the core carrier area and application demonstration window of "Smart City."

Wang Zhijie, Deputy Secretary of Party Working Committee of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area and Deputy Director of Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee said that to further accelerate the construction of smart parks, Liangjiang New Area would further strengthen the internal and peripheral linkages of the region, improve supporting functions, make full use of intelligent means to construct operation management, enrich and expand characteristic smart application scenarios, and create high standards of wisdom city.

Besides, to build up the reputation as a “Smart City,” Liangjiang New Area will also focus on Lijia Sub-district and Yuelai Sub-district, which boast unique ecological endowments, the most concentrated smart elements, and the most diverse application scenarios. This purpose will advance the integrated development of Lijia Sub-district and Yuelai Sub-district and develop them into beautiful, international, green, intelligent, and people-oriented riverside sub-districts.

The smart park manifests the unique charm of "a smart manufacturing stronghold and famous tech city."
