Chongqing- In the run-up to Spring Festival, iChongqing visited the Fortune Plaza Branch of FreshHema (a supermarket operated by Alibaba) to explore the range of goods on offer, and also held an interview with the store manager Tang Lei to learn more about their integrated online to offline products and services.
FreshHema is a new retail platform created under the banner of Alibaba Group that combines physical stores and online technology so that customers have the choice to enjoy a one-stop retail experience from their own homes.
In our interview, Tang Lei explains how FreshHema integrates their physical store and online platform, the services they can offer to customers, and examples of specialty goods available.
We were also treated to a demonstration of how people living within three kilometers of the store can purchase goods through their mobile application, and have them delivered quickly, no matter what size the order is.
