According to the Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on March 17, the human resources and social security departments of Sichuan and Chongqing will hold Employment and Entrepreneurship Week of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle at China (Chongqing) Public Vocational Training Center (Banan District) from March 24 to 26, in a move to consolidate their cooperation in this field.

With the theme of "Boosting Employment and Entrepreneurship, Developing Chengdu - Chongqing Economic Circle", the Week comprises ten activities, such as conferences, exhibitions, contests, and symposiums.
The summit on synergetic development of employment in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is one of the key activities. Experts, scholars, and Sichuan and Chongqing entrepreneurs' representatives are expected to share experience, exchange opinions, and offer advice and suggestions on employment planning, policies, and government services.
During the week, the two will co-host the vocational guidance simulation contest (final), entrepreneurship training, teaching and research achievements exhibition & launching ceremony of the national entrepreneurship trainers competition (regional qualification trial), job fairs, and trade fairs. The job fair to be held on the morning of March 26 will welcome 30-odd companies, including Chang'an Automobile, Haier Institute of Industrial Intelligence, Casin Smart Service Group, and Chongqing Unicom, which plan to offer over 2,000 jobs. Meanwhile, leaders of 6 companies are scheduled to visit the live broadcast room and provide about 20,000 jobs online.
The human resources and social security departments of Sichuan and Chongqing are about to sign an agreement on cooperation in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) key projects on employment, to identify related projects and enhance coordination in policies, data sharing, and project co-construction. As a result, the two can develop an exemplary center of employment and human resource services in western China.
During the week, the two will also unveil 2020 employment and entrepreneurship role models, outstanding groups in employment and entrepreneurship, demonstration workshops of employment and poverty alleviation, top ten employment innovative cases, employment demands in public human resources market, and top ten practical work in employment and entrepreneurship. These can comprehensively promote the attractive policies, platforms, and environments about employment and entrepreneurship in Chongqing.
