WCIFIT Captures World Media Attention as Chongqing Grand Opening Approaches

Chongqing- There are now just four days to go before the 3rd WCIFIT opens!

The attention of global media has been focused on this grand event, which will feature an opening ceremony, themed forums, exhibitions, and economic discussions, and trade talks, among the numerous highlights.

WCIFIT is to be held mainly offline with an integrated online presence. The event press center has extended invitations to various media organizations home and abroad to reach a wider global audience and to show the results of coordinated open development in Chongqing and the western region.

A representative of the press center organization committee has revealed that 688 journalists from all over the world have confirmed their attendance as of 6 pm on May 16th, who will cover all the action through graphics, text, video, and live broadcasts.

WCIFIT will be covered by 20 journalists from overseas media based in Chongqing, including Lianhe Zaobao of Singapore, Central Daily News of Korea, and Vietnam Television. In addition, 21 journalists from commercial websites and industry media such as NetEase Chongqing, Phoenix.com, and Pear Video will also be in attendance to follow the event.

As WCIFIT approaches, media friends home and abroad have released successive news reports and warm-up segments, receiving lavish praise from netizens. Many of these reports have been republished by media organizations, including Phoenix News.

It is understood the WCIFIT press has already been set up, with final construction to be completed on May 17, with a trial run to be held on May 19.

The press center has installed a headquarters, a writing area for reporters, a press conference room, a VIP lounge/interview room, a coffee break area, and a live broadcast and interview room.

The writing area will have 250 square meters of floor space, with three separate lounges able to accommodate 60 people and equipped with desks, chairs, power points, and network cables. Refreshments such as coffee, tea, and snacks will also be on hand.
