Chongqing - on June 4th, Niccolo Chongqing successfully held a Wedding Dinner and Jewellery Appreciation Salon, presenting a discovery journey about wedding art and fine jewelry design. Mr. Evert de Graeve, the world-renowned jewelry designer was specially invited to share his design inspiration, conveying the aesthetic value of fine jewelry and wedding art to the guests. iChongqing has conducted an exclusive interview with him to talk about his impression on this city, his life in China as well as a 30-year career in jewelry design.

Mr. Graeve has shared interesting stories with fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, jewelry legend Harry Winston, and movie star Scarlett Johansson. He also indicated that he plans to work on his new silk-road project themed in China. When speaking of jewelry, he said "jewelry is about happiness and stories behind it". 

During the event, the guests enjoyed the spectacular, sweeping views of Chongqing and the exquisite meal prepared by the culinary team led by Olivier Foucke, the Director of RB&E.

Mr. Evert de Graeve shared the key elements of fine jewelry and how he was inspired by the exhibitions and museums he had visited all around the world.
