Back in 2017 right before going on a summer holiday back to Denmark, I took a photo of the Chongqing skyline, specifically with Hongya Cave and the World Financial Center as the subject. Now, this was one of my first attempts at taking a really good, evening long-exposure photo in Chongqing, and I was always really pleased with that photo. However, it has been a couple of years now, and I actually never tried to re-take that photo. Naturally, I got myself thinking about whether I could do a better job today, so I went back to the same place, waited for the right time, and then ... Well, watch for yourself!
In this video, I will also be describing some of the thoughts I go through when deciding on how to do long-exposure photos. There are always certain trade-offs you have to make when you choose a long shutter over a shorter one. So make sure you watch until the end!
