Zhang Xingli, chairman of Chongqing Construction Engineering Building Materials and Logistics Co., Ltd., said that problems such as unequal logistics information, poor industrial coordination, weak financial support, and relatively old and backward manufacturing models have been prominent in the building materials industry.
Relying on more than ten years of ready-mixed concrete experience in operating commercial concrete companies, Chongqing Construction Engineering Building Materials and Logistics Co., Ltd., incubated the Gongyu Internet Cloud Platform in 2018.

Focusing on the field of building materials, and using the unified Industrial Internet logo plus cloud platform as the carrier, Gongyu Internet Cloud Platform has explored an innovative development model for the building materials industry in a combination of offline and online manufacturing and service, and industry and finance.
To open up the path of digital transformation of enterprise customers and to promote the low-cost and smart transformation of upstream and downstream small, medium, and micro-enterprises, the Gongyu Internet Cloud Platform also helps enterprises to realize the precise connection of supply and demand.
According to Zhang, at present, the Gongyu Internet Cloud Platform has helped over a thousand companies launch through the "cloud" at a low cost.
Achieving the goal of platform construction, by the end of 2021, the platform is expected to help 2,000 upstream and downstream companies launch through the "cloud," link more than 5,000 engineering equipment, and the platform transaction amount will exceed 7 billion yuan (about 1.08 billion U.S. dollars).
Zhang said in the future, Gongyu Internet Cloud Platform will focus on the concrete and building materials industry, expand application scenarios in-depth, promote platform-based innovative services, provide one-stop services for smart new construction, and realize the empowerment of the entire industry chain to form a new and effective ecosystem.
