As one of the important events of Smart China Expo 2021, this forum gathered industrial internet resources of governments, enterprises, universities, research institutes, and end-users to draw a blueprint for the innovative development of the industrial Internet. It promoted the integrated development of the industrial Internet at a wider scope, a deeper degree, and a higher level.
At the forum, the forefront trends were discussed, and views were shared around hot topics such as SMEs' digital transformation, Industrial Internet application practices, industrial information security, application of 5G+industrial Internet scenarios, and industrial artificial intelligence.

The demonstration zone will promote 19 specific tasks in six areas, namely network infrastructure, platform system, security system, industrial support, integrated application, and ecosystem, and strive to basically complete the construction and become a national model by 2022.
For the development of small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the forum held the launch ceremony of SMEs' industrial Internet-enabled digital transformation action.
The forum also released a report on SMEs' digital transformation enabled by industrial internet platforms, which deeply analyzes the current situation of digital transformation of SMEs and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to address the challenges such as weak key foundation, insufficient transformation motivation, and inadequate data empowerment.
A release ceremony was held for Guangyu Mingdao & Geely Industrial Internet Platform of Geely industrial Internet platform headquarters. The Geega Geely Industrial Internet Platform, developed by Guangyu Mingdao, integrates industrial chain resources, creates a digital base for the transformation of the manufacturing industry, provides full-chain digital transformation solutions for enterprises, and helps enterprises transform and upgrade across industries, fields, and scenarios.
The company also announced the platform's first five solutions, namely factory digitization, customization, smart travel, energy management for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, as well as scenario-based services. Geely will practice the new user-centered intelligent manufacturing approach and strive to write a new chapter of manufacturing reform.
Li Peigen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, shared his thoughts on the status quo, trends, and expansion of the industrial Internet.
Ni Guangnan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said this year would mark the first year of open source in China. China will quickly develop from a large country in open source to a country with strong open source capacity.
In view of a series of industry pain points, difficulties, and problems, representatives of many leading enterprises, including Guangyu Mingdao, Yunjiang Industrial Internet, Chengdu Jwell 56, and Chongqing Construction Engineering Building Materials & Logistics, in the theme speeches, shared experience, answered questions from manufacturing enterprises, and jointly looked forward to a better future of industrial Internet.
