Chongqing- After three days' conferences, exhibitions, forums, and high-tech matches, the Smart China Expo 2021 (SCE2021) came to a fruitful end at the Smart Pavilion of Chongqing Lijia Smart Park in the afternoon of August 25, where a fantastic closing ceremony was held.

At the closing ceremony, Ambassador of the Netherlands to China, Wim Geerts as the representative of foreign guests, and President of Sichuan University, Li Yanrong, as the representative of experts, expressed their thoughts on the development of smart industry and online viewing of the exhibition through video. Deng Yuehua, a representative of the audience, shared her feelings about the SCE2021.

On the scene, the human-screen interactive duo dance "Symbiosis" has brought a wonderful visual experience. The relevant leaders presented awards to the 2021 SCE Youth Big Data Intelligent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition winners, 2021 Kunpeng Application Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and i-VISTA Grand Challenge.

SCE2021 saw 361 foreign dignitaries, heads of international organizations, renowned experts and scholars, and heads of global industry leaders attended the opening ceremony and professional forums to discuss the frontier theories of the digital economy, actively share the latest achievements of intelligent industrial technology, and jointly take the pulse of the trends and opportunities of digital economy development.
SCE2021 highlights the theme of the industrial Internet. Mitsubishi Electric, Inspur Group, CISDI, Guangyu Mingdao, HUMI Net, and other famous industrial Internet enterprises were presented. More than 50 kinds of new technologies and achievements, such as hydrogen fuel cells, autonomous driving cloud control platform, quantum key distribution technology-based solutions, international trade single window intelligent customs clearance system were released publicly for the first time.
The Lijia Smart Park focused on creating a "day of smart life", presenting 60 experience scenes and 130 experience projects, allowing people to enjoy the smart era and genuinely share the smart life.
The Expo demonstrated the influence of the international platform. Guests from 29 countries and regions attended the event. 611 enterprises from 31 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, with a physical area of 70,000 square meters, including the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Economic Cooperation Pavilion of 10,000 square meters. National and Local Co-constructed Silicon-based Hybrid Integrated Innovation Center and Chongqing (Liangjiang New Area) National-level Vehicle Networking Pilot Zone was inaugurated in Chongqing.
During the 3-day expo, 100 results and promotion activities were held. 92 projects with a total investment of 252.4 billion yuan were signed, including 69 projects in smart manufacturing, digital economy and science and technology with a total investment of 190.4 billion yuan.
On the occasion of closing ceremony, the organizing committee issued an invitation to the world: welcome to meet again in Chongqing next year, meet in Smart China Expo 2022, to innovate cooperation and friendship, share wisdom achievements, and create a bright future of digital economy together!
