On the occasion of the 2021 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, the Fourth Three Gorges (Liangping) Autumn Festival kicked off in Liangping District Chongqing on September 23.

"The celebration is not only to cheer for the bumper harvest but also to showcase the significant progress achieved made by Liang Ping farmers," according to an official from the Liangping District Commission of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
Promoting rural development with modern technology
With a unique geographical advantage, Liangping District is a renowned fertile region, the main battlefield to promote rural revitalization in Chongqing and one of the country's main grain-producing areas.

There were deep processed agricultural products exhibitions and live-streaming sales along the way from the parking lot to the Bowl and Rice Homestay. The marketing strategy of combining offline supply and online sales has enabled exhibitors to earn more and live prosperous lives.
Spicing up rural life with music and shopping
The Fourth Three Gorges (Liangping) Autumn Festival opened with "Under Bright Sunshine" and "Power of Rejuvenation" played by artists from Chongqing Municipal Opera Theater to praise the bountiful harvest and rural achievements and pay special tribute to Chinese farmers.
The Mingyue Mountain Country Music Concert will also be held as part of the celebration. This year's concert will use acoustic, optical, and electrical technologies to create the perfect atmosphere and combine diverse music elements such as country folk, electro-hop, youth pop, rock, and special medley to present a trending, edgy, yet nostalgic country concert.
Liangping District will also launch large-scale activities for the Golden Autumn Consumption Season from September 23 to October 23. In addition to the offline activities at exhibition halls and stores, including Shugu Farm, the Agricultural Outlets, Lieshen Sanxiang, spot sale activities and live-streaming shows for selling local agricultural products will also be conducted simultaneously online to expand Liangping agricultural products' market reach further.
