The alliance initiated by eight institutions aims to provide Chinese and Singaporean enterprises with a one-stop service platform integrating laws and regulations consultation, accounting and human resources.

"For enterprises to invest in an unfamiliar country or region, they need a professional ‘navigator’. The alliance members play that role by showing their profession in Singapore and Chongqing," said Zeng Jinghua, director of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity Administrative Bureau.

The alliance members include Chinese well-known law firms and comprehensive professional service institutions based in Singapore.

After its establishment, the alliance will further integrate relevant resources in both countries and provide assistance for enterprises both at home and abroad. It will provide investment and trade consulting services in cross-border investment, finance, trade, intellectual property protection, and data. It will also cooperate with colleges and universities to jointly study international trade-related policies and laws, and establish a database.
