The red health code signifies the need for treatment in medical institutions, centralized quarantine, and home isolation. Yellow indicates the requirement for personal and community-based health monitoring, while green indicates that normal daily activities can proceed.

Specifically, the new red health pass is divided into the following six categories, including confirmed cases, asymptomatic infections, and suspected patients, primary and secondary contacts, accompanying individuals of those with recent overseas travel history, people identified as having contact with an infected individual, and confirmed as needing quarantine measures, personnel located within sealed control areas during an emergency outbreak, and further individuals deemed in need of red level management according to epidemic prevention and control policies.

Yellow health codes refer to domestic arrivals in Chongqing from medium or high-risk areas, in addition to those requiring yellow tier management according to epidemic prevention and control policies.

How to obtain a green pass?

In principle, according to national and local management requirements, red health codes are changed to green upon the completion of centralized quarantine and home isolation.

Yellow health codes will change to green upon the successful completion of self-health monitoring and the removal of community-based management.

Populations within sealed control areas for epidemic control will automatically receive a green health code following the release of control measures and a negative nucleic acid test result.

General queries about the application of Yukangma health codes can be made to 023-12345, while citizens with specific issues or objections may call one of the following six numbers to appeal: (023)-67724708, 67725138, 67724648, 67724918, 67725078, 67724938.

In addition, travel history verification has been incorporated into the Yukangma health code system so that both functions may be completed using the same interface.
