Chongqing - The first China Hot Spring Industry Expo will be held in Chongqing on December 24-25 with the theme "Healthy Living - Hot Spring Empowerment." The exhibition will cover more than 10,000 square meters, divided into seven thematic display areas in total, including the international hot spring industry, key hot spring projects, hot spring recreation, health care, hot spring special culture, and creative products.
Why Chongqing
Chongqing has the world's top hot springs and geothermal resources and has been named the "World Capital of Hot Springs," with 10,000 square kilometers of proven hot springs, 560 million tons of proven hot spring water reserves, and 163 existing hot spring resources with relaxing hot waters that are steeped in tradition. It is very common for Chongqing people to enjoy hot springs to break from their busy lives. The Chongqing government and related departments have been working to capitalize on such geographical advantages for the benefit of citizens and economic development. This Hot Spring Industry Expo can be seen as an exploration of the development of hot springs in Chongqing.

What to expect
During this hot spring expo, various hot spring theme activities will be held. The public can take a hot spring bath on-site and participate in various interactive hot spring experiences such as hot spring livestream, a hot spring health story collection, beneficial and medicinal hot springs, and other activities. Several distinctive theme activities, such as hot spring shows, intangible culture heritage performances, Guqin(Chinese traditional instrument)performance, and tea ceremonies can be expected during this event. National intangible culture heritage masters, poetry creation artists, famous tea artists, and Guqin performance artists will gather in Chongqing to perform on-site.

For those who cannot be there
This year's expo will adopt the online plus offline method and integrate five functional modules, such as soaking trips and recreation homes, to achieve online displays, synchronous livestream, interactive lotteries, and more. Nearly 20 countries and regions from Italy, the United States, Russia, Australia, and other hot spring promotion agencies and industrial enterprises will participate in online and offline activities.
