In Episode 2 of "Alex In The City",  I share my experience renting an apartment in China. I was surprised by what fully furnished means in China compared to the rest of the world. I'll give you an inside look at what is needed to start your life in Chongqing, China. 

When shopping for furniture, I was happy to find China has Ikea. China became one of the many countries where IKEA implied its internalization strategy. Ikea is a Swedish company and designs its products in Sweden, but many manufacturing facilities are located in Asia, where China is a critical hub for outsourcing. As of August 2019, IKEA in China has opened 28 stores countrywide.
