Chongqing Xiantao International Big Data Valley Designated as National Copyright Demonstration Park

Chongqing- Chongqing Xiantao International Big Data Valley was awarded the title of 2021 National Copyright Demonstration Park (Base) recently, the only one in Chongqing. Altogether 15 recipients across China have been selected by the National Copyright Administration of the People's Republic of China.

The title is the highest honor in China's copyright field, awarded to enterprises, institutions, and business markets that have excelled in the creation and circulation of works, contributed to the development of its industry and copyright protection, and management, or those that have exemplary influence across the country.

Xiantao International Big Data Valley has constantly improved the system of intellectual property creation, application, protection, management, etc., since its establishment. The level of intellectual property creation and application has been greatly improved after years of development, nourishing an atmosphere of respecting and protecting intellectual property, which has promoted the development of industrial innovation.

By now, the big data valley has a registration of 1,293 enterprises, and 250 enterprises are based there, including Huawei, ARM, Qualcomm, and Microsoft. Moreover, the copyright registration coverage and soft intellectual properties saw a steady increase, evidenced by 1,749 intellectual property applications and 1,232 authorizations in Xiantao International Big Data Valley. 

Next, Xiantao International Big Data Valley will give full play to its demonstration and leading role of the National Copyright Demonstration Park.

By strengthening the awareness of copyright protection of the settled enterprises and improving the copyright protection system, the big data valley will make a leap in building an atmosphere of respect for originality and copyright and contribute to a first-class business environment.

Furthermore, it will target to create a favorable environment for talent development from multiple aspects such as policy support, financial support, talent guarantee, and technology empowerment.
