Chongqing- Loaded with Three Gorges Yangju, a kind of chrysanthemum, a truck departed from Yunshan Agricultural Processing Plant in Yunyang County, Chongqing Municipality recently, marking the successful exportation of the product for four consecutive years.
This is also the first export of Three Gorges Yangju since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, or RCEP, came into effect in January.
As a characteristic industry in Yunyang County, the Three Gorges Yangju has been included in the development plan of the key industries of modern agriculture in Yunyang County and Chongqing Municipality.

The Three Gorges Yangju is a key industry in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area to consolidate poverty alleviation achievements and comprehensively promote rural revitalization.
Yunshan Agriculture has formed more than ten products represented by traditional Chinese medicine raw materials, chrysanthemum drinks, and chrysanthemum cakes, with more than 800 tons of Three Gorges Yangju dried flowers processed.
The products have been certified as organic food by China, the European Union, the United States, and Japan, obtaining certification of Protected Eco-origin Product by China and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
For now, they have radiated from Yunyang to six districts and counties of Chongqing, covering 48,000 acres of this plant in the city.

Benefited from RCEP
Worth more than 300,000 yuan (about 47,115 U.S. dollars), the export of 590 pieces of chrysanthemum, a raw material of medical traditional Chinese medicine, will ship from Chongqing Tuanjiecun Station to Singapore in 20 days.
Another batch of products with the same value will be sent to Singapore at the end of this month from the chairman of Yunshan Agriculture.
Meanwhile, a North American distributor has shown interest in its exportation as well.
So, how can Three Gorges Yangju export to Singapore under the epidemic influence? It depends significantly on RCEP.
Built by 15 members, including China, the RCEP is the largest and most important free trade agreement in the Asia-Pacific region, which officially entered into force in January this year.
The pact covers nearly half of the world's population and one-third of its trade volume, leading to the birth of its most populous, diversified, and dynamic free trade zone.
The implementation of RCEP brings more development opportunities to agricultural export products, said an official of Yunyang County.
In order to further improve the export competitiveness of the Three Gorges Yangju, they will study the RCEP rules in-depth to help more enterprises go global and enhance the value of local agricultural products.
