WFC, Dream Ordovician Jointly Create High-altitude Journey in Chongqing

Chongqing- A strategic cooperation agreement of jointly creating a "High-altitude journey in Chongqing" has been reached between the Chongqing World Financial Centre (WFC) Skyview Platform and the Dream Ordovician recently.

The Huixian Tower Skyview Platform, known as "the peak in western China" is on the 73rd to 75th floor of the WFC, which has a building height of 339 meters high and is 590 meters high above sea level.

Opened in 1982, the Huixian Tower was the highest building in Chongqing. In 2009, it was demolished and then replaced by the WFC at the same location. What remains unchanged is that the Huixian Tower Skyview platform is still one of the best places to enjoy a view of the city.

Inside the platform is an open-air design. The walls are all made of glass and provide visitors with a broad view. In clear weather, you can enjoy a birds-eye view of the Yuzhong peninsula and the intersection of the Yangtze River and Jialing River. In misty rain, you can enjoy the mountain city scene surrounded by clouds. When night falls, you can see the starry sky and the city center decorated with colorful lights.

Different from the Skyview Platform on the WFC, the Dream Ordovician in Wansheng District is committed to creating original cliff experience projects.

The Dream Ordovician is a comprehensive scenic spot integrating cliff experience, parent-child amusement, nature sightseeing, live-action performance, and catering accommodation. In 2017, its project "Sky Hanging Gallery" was certified by Guinness World Records and thus became a global tourist hotspot.

As the typical representative of Chongqing's high-altitude project, the WFC Huixian Tower viewing platform is in the most prosperous area of Chongqing. It focuses on the high-altitude view of the urban night scene. At the same time, the Dream Ordovician locates in the natural landscape of scenic spots and focuses on the cliff experience close to nature.

Yang Jin, the deputy general manager of WFC, said that the two high-altitude projects could complement each other and work together to provide a richer and more diversified entertaining experience for the citizens and tourists.

In the future, the two scenic spots will work together to help the development of Chongqing's tourism industry.

The cooperation will focus on high-altitude viewing, and a joint ticket of the WFC Skyview Platform and the Dream Ordovician will be launched. Besides tickets to the two scenic spots, the joint ticket also includes some hotel and scenic products, as well as a complimentary direct transportation card.

The joint ticket allows citizens and tourists to experience more value-added services at the same price and is expected to be launched on the official websites of the two scenic spots and online and offline booking platforms in early April.

Zhang Yifei, general manager of the Dream Ordovician Operation Center, said that the Dream Ordovician would try to work together with WFC to promote Chongqing's diverse, three-dimensional and magical city image to the whole country and the whole world.
