Smart application upgrades tourism management
In recent years, with the continuous application of "big data + tourism," the analysis of tourist portraits and suggestions can effectively improve collaborative management and public service capabilities and promote tourism services, marketing, management, and tourism innovation.
For example, the GIS visualization management and control system launched by Dazu Rock Carvings connects multiple systems such as video monitoring, passenger flow monitoring, and parking lot management. Different business collaborations, such as service and management of the Dazu Rock Carvings, can be realized by improving the scenic spot's data sharing and exchange capabilities.

Chongqing Tourism Artificial Intelligence Information Technology Co., Ltd. has launched a digital map of intangible cultural heritage in Sichuan and Chongqing. The map of intangible cultural heritage is an important project to promote the construction of the Bashu Cultural and Tourism Corridor. These two provinces have accelerated the creative transformation and innovative development of intangible cultural heritage.
Digitization makes travel more convenient
Smart tourism has become a reality through cutting-edge technologies that make traveling more accessible, such as the Internet, big data, and artificial intelligence.
For example, Tencent Culture and Tourism displayed the "One Phone to Travel Wulong District" platform, which uses the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence technology to create a digital platform. Through the customization of travel routes, intelligent tours, etc., tourists are provided with one-stop smart services in the fields of travel information acquisition, planning, product booking, travel sharing, etc.

Immersive tourism experience
Some interactive technology projects have been created as digitalization and intelligence are applied in the cultural and tourism industries. The immersive experience allows people to travel through time and space, experience new trends in future cultural tourism, and interact with many live audiences.
In China Mobile's 5G cloud tourism system, for instance, the China Mobile View APP is used for screen projection display and to broadcast the real-time beauty of scenic spots via 5G and VR. Based on a map of China, the software integrates real-time panoramic videos of scenic spots in various provinces. Users can watch real-time panoramic videos of more than 80 scenic spots in 17 provinces across the country. Due to this, users can stay at home and enjoy the country's beautiful scenery while experiencing 5G cloud tourism during the pandemic.
In addition, Meituan brings the interactive "Spinning Bike" service. Through VR, tourists can ride through cities and scenic spaces on a "cloud tour" (online). Meituan also plans to implant Chongqing tourism-related content in VR to realize a "tour" to Chongqing's well-known cultural and tourist attractions by bicycle.
