Since the businesses are closely related to the pandemic prevention and control measures, iChongqing interviewed Scott, a Serbian bar owner in Yuzhong District, and heard his responses during the lockdown. Scott has been in China for four years. Unfortunately, his business was significantly affected due to Covid. From his perspective, he took the wait-and-see strategy and always had a plan B, even a plan C, out there. “There’s plenty of time to take on new things that I have never done before,” he said.

At the national level, China has also introduced new policies to revive its economy.
