From January 6 to 7, the 3rd DMC International Street Dance Competition and its award ceremony were held. The routine part collected works in the form of an online preliminary evaluation. The individual competition had four items: Popping, Locking, Breaking, and Hip-Hop, which arranged 11 freestyle one vs. one sub-items. The provincial team competition was designed for five vs. five dance battles among the teams. To ensure the quality of the competition, 17 top and famous international and domestic street dancers are invited as judges. Hence, the judging team is high-standard and professional.

The competition required that entries must take street dance as the genre. Participants are encouraged to create original works that feature Chinese traditional culture or folk mores or reflect the spirit of the times and social reality in China. This marks one of the characteristics of this competition.

The individual competition granted 21 awards for individuals and groups of different types of dance, and the routine competition granted five awards for the strongest style and the best choreography. Outstanding contestants were invited to participate in selecting the performers of the street dance drama Ebullient Youth, choreographed in Chongqing. The award-winning contestants can serve as the promotion ambassadors of the next DMC International Street Dance Competition to jointly promote the development of the event brand and dance street culture.
