Sichuan and Chongqing plan to promote medical emergency rescue services in 2023, as well as referral and treatment services for critically ill pregnant women, and accelerate the integration of electronic health cards between the two regions.

Chongqing is also promoting the construction of smart healthcare, such as unifying the city's health and medical data resource catalog, realizing the city's integrated health data collection, sharing medical channels, and improving data exchange and sharing mechanisms.
