China’s Exports of Pickup Trucks Surge 70 Pct in January

Beijing- China's pickup truck exports surged 70 percent year on year in January, according to the China Passenger Car Association.

A total of 10,000 pickup trucks were exported last month, said the association.

China's pickup truck sales dropped 26 percent year on year to 43,000 in January due to COVID-19 disruptions, the association added.

In 2022, a total of 128,000 pickup trucks were exported, up 65 percent year on year and accounting for 25 percent of total pickup sales, according to the association.
