The construction of a digital twin project of the motorcycle engine assembly plant of Chongqing Zongshen Power Machinery Co., Ltd. is an example of Humi’s technology to use the Industrial Internet to promote the digitalization of manufacturing, said Gong.

Previously, the workshop of the Zongshen factory of Chongqing Zongshen Power Machinery Co., Ltd. was in the state of “information island,” where the management information was not transparent, equipment abnormalities were detected and processed not timely, and the production process was backward.

After Chongqing Humi Network Technology Co., Ltd. built a digital twin factory for the Zongshen factory, the digital twin factory combined 5G + industrial and AI+ Internet of Things technology applications can link multiple information systems and hardware equipment of the Zongshen factory.

Digital twin factories are becoming increasingly common around the globe, with many companies adopting this technology to improve their operations. 

For example, Siemens has developed a digital twin factory in Germany, which is used to simulate and optimize the production of industrial machinery. Similarly, General Electric has developed a digital twin factory in the United States, which is used to optimize the performance of jet engines.

The construction of the digital twin factory for the Zongshen factory can monitor the real-time status and data of all engines in the factory. It can also carry out real-time warning and treatment of abnormal problems in workshop materials, logistics, assembly, and detection.

Since the construction of the digital twin factory for the Zongshen factory, the automatic error correction and error prevention ability has increased by about 10.6 times, the operation automation rate has increased by about 10.1 times, the management coordination personnel has decreased by about 42.5%, and the per capita output has increased by approximately 145.5%.
