Chongqing - As the warm spring months arrive, a radiant golden hue spreads across the mountain city of Chongqing, adorning the fields with brilliant canola flowers. March is a busy time for farming, and the canola flowers bloom vibrantly, painting the landscape with a sea of yellow. This picturesque scenery, under the spring sunshine, attracts many tourists who come to admire it.
Canola oil is one of the primary edible oils used by the people of Chongqing, and it's an essential ingredient for preparing local dishes. Although canola is an ordinary crop, the romantic Chongqing people endow it with more meaning. Some merchants ingeniously package the flowers into beautiful bouquets, bestowing them with the flower language. "You will have everything you want." This alluring message entices tourists to purchase them.

The 2023 Chen Tuan's Hometown Canola Flower Festival recently kicked off, illuminating the numerous farmhouses of different sizes and unique characteristics in the surrounding area that have cropped up due to the popularity of the canola flower fields. While enjoying the idyllic scenery, tourists can also indulge in authentic vegetables that have gradually become a tourism trend.

On Guangyang Island, Nan'an District, a vast canola field and a green lawn form a bright spring scene, with one yellow and one green, creating a striking contrast of colors.
