Exploring 178-KM Driving Route in China’s Mountain City

Chongqing - An 178-kilometer self-drive tour route that links 50 villages in 11 towns in Southwest China was released in Chongqing Municipality on April 12.

Nanchuan District of Chongqing held the brand launch event for the "178-KM Fun Drive in Greater Jinfo Mountain Area ", a driving circle route around the Jinfo Mountain or "Golden Buddha Mountain" in this area of 1300 square kilometers.

It will become a popular attraction for tourists and self-driving enthusiasts due to its picturesque scenery and rich cultural heritage. The route is also home to the world's natural heritage site, national scenic spots, national forest parks, national 5A tourist attractions, and other renowned landmarks, such as Jinfo Mountain.

The mountain range surrounding the greater Jinfo Mountain boasts breathtaking scenery, featuring continuous mountain ranges, cascading peaks, a boundless sea of clouds, and the unique beauty of Jinfo Mountain when sunlight graces its surface. Only by approaching it can one truly experience the wonder of the "world's first Karst Table Mountain."

The route is a top choice for outdoor mountain sports, offering a variety of activities such as cliff climbing, paragliding, rafting, and hiking. These activities provide visitors with both relaxation and thrilling experiences.

The driving brand embodies a vivid practice of integrating rural tourism with cultural and creative industries to empower rural revitalization. This brand launch event represents a significant step towards promoting rural tourism and supporting local industries. It will create more opportunities for rural communities and enrich visitors' experiences with the unique cultural and natural resources of the Nanchuan District.

The district aims to explore and cultivate four types of rural tourism integration development models based on the route, including rural leisure experiences, ecological health preservation, characteristic industry support, and scenic area development.
