The seven-day trip brought together representatives from over 20 mainstream overseas Chinese-language media outlets and central media organizations involved in overseas Chinese affairs from 13 countries and regions, including the United States, the Philippines, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, Myanmar, Germany, Argentina, and New Zealand. They gathered to explore Chongqing's breathtaking scenery and cultural charm and to discuss its development.
Xu Bingyi, chairman of the International Federation of Chinese-Language Media in Malaysia, spoke on behalf of overseas Chinese media representatives. He stated that it is the responsibility and obligation of overseas Chinese media to spread the Chinese voice and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture. He expressed his willingness to use clear, rational, sincere, objective, and impartial voices to communicate and inform the world about Chongqing's economic achievements and cultural prosperity.
The media interview tour is one of the brand activities of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. Its aim is to use the power of Chinese-language media to promote China's real image and development achievements, to spread Chinese culture, and to enhance friendship between China and other countries.
During the seven-day trip, the overseas Chinese media delegation will visit places such as Wanzhou, Yuzhong, and Chengkou, where they will experience the beauty of the Three Gorges, the development of cultural tourism, the history of Chongqing, and the ecological development of Chengkou.
The delegation will also witness the beauty of Chongqing's scenery and culture and feel the vitality of the Bayu culture. They will showcase Chongqing's new chapter of high-quality development to the world, promote the "international style" of Chongqing, and appreciate the unique flavor of the "Bayu" region.
