Terminus Group’s AI CITY Boosts Digital Economies in Chongqing, Deyang, and Wuhan

Chongqing - The Terminus Group, stationed in the Western (Chongqing) Science City, has been recognized with the prestigious "2023 IoT Industry Innovation Technology Product Award" for their innovative Terminus AI CITY Operating System (TacOS), presented at the recent OFweek Internet of Things Industry Conference 2023 in Shenzhen.

TacOS functions as an Internet of Things (IoT) backbone designed explicitly for scenarios like "buildings, communities, parks, and cities." It seeks to foster a digital ecosystem where every entity is precisely and comprehensively interconnected, facilitating smarter urban governance.

"Aided by TacOS, we've successfully rolled out AI CITY in urban hubs such as Chongqing, Deyang, and Wuhan, reinforcing the growth of the local digital economy," a spokesperson from Terminus Group elaborated.

An Insightful "Control Center"

AI CITY stands as a testament to Terminus's holistic AIoT solution suite. Using Chongqing's AI CITY as a reference, Terminus has conceived a specialized "Control Center" catering to spatial management requirements.

The "Control Center" offers an intricate 3D digital twinning of various park components, mirroring real-world nuances like day-night transitions, weather fluctuations, and indoor spaces. Such detailed digital replication equips managers with insights derived from real-time data.

Notably, the "Control Center" transcends spatial and systemic limitations. Devices from different areas within AI CITY are interconnected, enhancing their coordination. This becomes crucial, especially in emergency situations.

"For instance, if there's a fire outbreak in the park, the 'Control Center' swiftly assesses the situation's magnitude, gauges the population density across zones, and activates pertinent ventilation and exhaust systems," the representative explained. "It's adept at formulating evacuation strategies, bolstering the park's readiness against potential threats."

A Beacon for the Future

TacOS's urban application promises to revolutionize how city administrators, builders, and residents operate by creating a holistic urban entity.

Notably, AI CITY, nestled in Jinfeng City Center, is slated to commence operations by the start of next year. Garnering an investment of roughly 20 billion RMB (around USD 2.74 billion) and sprawling over about 1.2 million square meters, AI CITY is under the spotlight for its extensive integration of AI and IoT tech.

Looking ahead, several innovative entities, encompassing Terminus's global headquarters, a national AIoT innovation hub, a public AI service platform, and a joint research body for smart IoT, are in the pipeline. These mark the dawn of an AI-centric digital economic epicenter.

Terminus Group, renowned as a global frontrunner in intelligent environment solutions, has carved a niche in the Artificial Intelligence of Things (IoT), emerging as a trailblazer in China's urban AIoT industry.
