International Influencers Explore Chongqing’s Green and Sustainable Lifestyle

Chongqing - Influencers Bertha from the United States and Ponte from Italy recently embarked on a journey to explore Xiantao International Big Data Valley and Tongluoshan Mine Park in Yubei District, Chongqing. Through their firsthand experiences, overseas audiences get a glimpse into Yubei's green and sustainable lifestyle.

During their visit to Xiantao International Big Data Valley, they had the opportunity to experience an autonomous shuttle bus and dine at a smart restaurant, both of which left them impressed with the convenience of life in the area. Ponte remarked, "I like that for now, the Chinese government will supply a safety driver. Even though the bus doesn't need one, you feel a bit safer."

Within Xiantao Data Valley, the infrastructure of the intelligent driving community now includes 24 intersections and a central cloud-controlled area spanning 2 square kilometers. This layout is well-complemented by an operational service platform.

Given its rich limestone resources, Tongluo Mountain in Chongqing was once a bustling hub for gravel mining. However, with growing recognition of ecological concerns and the push for sustainable alternatives, Chongqing shut down the Tongluo Mountain quarry in 2010.

The city has since adopted a holistic approach, merging ecological conservation and restoration with rural revitalization, industrial progression, and the enhancement of residents' livelihoods. Moreover, the ecological rejuvenation of Tongluo Mountain now goes hand in hand with its tourism development, establishing a symbiotic relationship between environmental restoration and industrial growth.
