In 1956, the Department of Pediatrics of Shanghai First Medical College moved to Chongqing to establish one of the earliest children’s hospitals in China. Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University is a comprehensive 3A pediatric hospital that combines medical care, research, and teaching. In 2019, it was approved to be the National Child Health and Disease Clinical Research Center. The hospital offers Master’s and Doctoral Degrees, and provides post-doctoral education. The hospital is home to the National Key Discipline of Pediatrics, the key laboratory of the Ministry of Education, the National First-class Undergraduate Discipline, the National Continuing Medical Education Base, the National Pediatric Standardized Training Demonstration Base, the National Teaching Team, the National Excellent Course, National Food and Drug Administration Drug Clinical Trial Institution, the only National Pediatric Standardized Training Demonstration Base in China, and the only qualified children’s hospital of liver transplantation.
For three consecutive years since 2016, the hospital has ranked 3rd in the nation among the Honor Roll of Hospitals in China Best Children’s Hospital Rating published by Hospital Management Institute, Fudan University. Its research achievements ranked 1st among children’s hospitals in China, and its Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Internal Medicine ranked 3rd in the National Children’s Hospitals, 2018. It ranked 2nd in the ranking of National Hospital Science and Technology Evaluation Metrics (STEM), Pediatrics, 2018.

2. Website Appointment: Visit the Medical Affairs Network（医事通）website: http://www.jkwin.com.cn/, and choose “Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University” for appointment booking.
3. App Appointment: Download the Medical Affairs Network（医事通）App and select “Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University” for appointment booking.
4. Self-Service Machine Appointment: Physical or electronic cards can be used at the outpatient self-service machines for appointment booking.
