Huang Fugen, mayor of Pulian Town, Wuxi County, explained that the first batch has already begun shipping and will be exported to countries such as Russia, Germany, and the Netherlands.

This marks the first time that Wuxi County's pomelos have gone abroad. Huang added, "In the next step, we will adhere to industry revitalization to promote comprehensive rural revitalization, expand sales channels, and continuously broaden the channels for farmers to increase their income and become prosperous."

Reporters observed the Dunzishi Pomelo Professional Cooperative in Pulian Town, Wuxi County, where vehicles with license plates from outside the region were parked, collecting pomelos.

Villagers sorted, weighed, selected, and loaded their self-harvested pomelos, streamlining the sales process and eliminating many hassles associated with self-harvesting and self-selling.

Farmers in Pulian Town planted over 10,000 mu (about 667 hectares) of pomelos this year, more than half in the high-yield period.

This year, relying on the Dunzishi Pomelo Professional Cooperative, they adopted a unified management model, including the supply of agricultural materials, technical guidance, park management, packaging, grading, and product sales.

Through a year of standardized planting and management, the quality and yield of pomelos have significantly improved. Meanwhile, they actively integrated sales resources, expanded overseas sales channels, and accelerated the promotion of high-quality Pulian Town pomelos from Wuxi County to the world.
