Chongqing Resumes Direct Flights to Kathmandu

Chongqing - Himalaya Airlines will resume the Chongqing-Kathmandu direct flights on December 12, fostering economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and Nepal, according to the Chongqing Airport Group.

This is the 11th international and regional passenger route Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has confirmed for resumption this year, following routes to Phuket, London, Moscow, Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, and Paris.

The flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, with a schedule of two flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Starting this year, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has also enhanced its international and regional passenger routes by adding more flights to destinations like Madrid, Dubai, Singapore, Seoul, and Hong Kong. By the end of the year, the airport is anticipated to offer 19 routes with approximately 90 weekly flights.
