The 6th China International Import Expo(CIIE) wrapped up with a total of 78.41 billion U.S. dollars worth of tentative deals being reached for one-year purchases of goods and services, which set a record high. This fruitful result mirrored global businesses' confidence in the Chinese market as well as the great opportunities offered by China.
Before the CIIE commenced, some Western organizations sourly claimed the expo as a "Political Showcase." Facts speak louder than words. Positive global exhibitors, such as a record number of over 200 enterprises from the United States, 758 European enterprises, and small and medium-sized companies from less-developed countries, reached deals that refute the so-called "Political Showcase."
