Chongqing- The Chongqing International Travel Agent Conference 2023, which is being held from November 20-23, has been organized to strengthen global cooperation and promote high-quality development in the travel industry of Chongqing.
There are nearly thirty countries worldwide represented at the event, including Hungary, Australia, Thailand, Qatar, and Uruguay, with around 400 overseas delegates in attendance who aim to capitalize on new opportunities presented by the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
Organizers have created a platform to facilitate international exchange, negotiations, and docking, with road-show promotions for cultural tourism and new boutique travel routes bringing extra spice to the proceedings. Additionally, incentive schemes have been released for domestic travel agencies to encourage tourism from overseas countries into Chongqing.
Malgorzata Tanska is the director of the Polish National Tourism Office in Beijing and attended the Conference to promote her country to Chinese tourists, who particularly enjoy tours related to the life and works of Frederic Chopin on top of the scenery and culinary traditions.
Tanska admits she feels truly surprised at the beauty and modernity in Chongqing and believes the city should be placed high on the list of must-see places in China for Polish tourists. As a result, Chongqing has become the focus of its promotional activities together with the traditional power centers of Beijing and Shanghai.
