Int’l Software Industry Talent Development Conference Held in Chongqing’s Liangjiang New Area

As one of the significant events within the Chongqing International Talent Exchange Conference, the International Software Industry Talent Development Conference was recently held in Liangjiang New Area, extending an olive branch to the next generation of Internet technology talents.

During the event, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology unveiled the list of members of the Chongqing Software Talent "Super Factory" operating institution and its affiliated institutions. This consortium comprises a total of 16 entities, with one operating institution and 15 members, encompassing 67 leading enterprises, academic institutions, research institutes, and training organizations.

Wang Fei, Vice General Manager of Liangjiang Investment Group and Chairman of Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone Corporation, extended an invitation to the next generation of Internet technology talents during the event.The Innovation Zone, as a critical platform for technological innovation in Liangjiang, is accelerating the development of eight major enabling platforms, including AI computing power-sharing services and computing power interconnection and scheduling platforms, all centered around the next-generation Internet-led digital technology industry. In addition, they are focusing on scene support, financing guarantees, and policy innovation to create a demonstration area for industrial innovation and development.

During the conference, the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology signed a memorandum of cooperation for software talent cultivation with the Mingyue Lake Construction Leading Group Command. Both parties will expedite the establishment of a collaborative innovation and talent nurturing platform, promote resource sharing, and advance talent cultivation and exchange.

The China-Europe Technology Innovation Network signed a memorandum of cooperation for software talent exchange with the Liangjiang New Area Talent Development Group, focusing on deepening cooperation in talent exchange, platform construction, information sharing, brand building, project implementation, and event organization. Together, they aim to create a high-end and specialized platform for cooperation and exchange.

Furthermore, Haitong Securities and Liangjiang New Area Corporation signed a cooperation memorandum. Haitong Securities will leverage its strengths in comprehensive financial services such as industrial funds, listing services, and corporate financing to actively participate in Liangjiang New Area Corporation's key projects, striving to provide convenient, efficient, and comprehensive financial services.

In recent years, Liangjiang New Area, serving as the central hub for Chongqing's digital economic development, has closely aligned itself with the goals of becoming a prominent city for China's software industry and the construction of a digital Chongqing. They have implemented the "Starry Sky" action plan for the software and information service industry, boasting the nation's unique "four nodes and one channel, two centers" model. The area has attracted nearly 10,000 active digital economic entities, accounting for one-third of Chongqing's digital economic added value, with the software and information service industry exceeding 100 billion yuan (14 billion U.S. dollars) on an industrial scale. This growth has also drawn nearly 100,000 software talents to the region.
