Market regulation integration in the Chengdu-Chongqing region

Tang Yingyu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Chongqing Administration for Market Regulation stated that they expedited the construction of market integration within the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle through collaboratively refined market system rules and strengthened regional market supervision.

Tang added that this specifically involves accelerating fair competition review, eliminating local protectionism and market segmentation, uniforming standards for the Sichuan-Chongqing hotpot, and easing access for large-scale catering enterprises into the region.

Other measures involve creating a comprehensive lifecycle supervision mechanism for business entities, advancing integrated credit supervision, and streamlining business licensing processes in the Chengdu-Chongqing region to enhance the business environment.

Enhancing Sichuan-Chongqing cooperation has resulted in mutual recognition of operating licenses for Chengdu-Chongqing chain enterprises across different regions. Coordinating development and safety, seven major actions, such as standard leadership and brand support, have been carried out to promote the high-quality development of the food and agricultural processing industry.

This year, the Chongqing Administration for Market Regulation has enhanced digital empowerment through the online application for catering safety by vigorously implementing "Internet + transparent kitchen + AI recognition," covering 25,000 entities.

Promoting the internationalization of "Chongqing Made" standards

In promoting the high-quality development of business entities, Chongqing is actively promoting the standardization, regularization, and facilitation of licensing approval, fully implementing simplified and regular cancellation procedures.

Simultaneously, targeted support is provided for individual businesses through a precise classification and assistance system, promoting policies that can be enjoyed without application, optimizing the direct service for individual businesses, and strengthening policy release and interpretation guidance.

Tang stated that the next step will focus on the modern manufacturing industry cluster system, vigorously promoting the high-quality development of key industries.

Specific measures include advancing standardization by continuously implementing the Enterprise Standard Leader System, which aims to enhance the effective supply of mid-to-high-end products and services through high-level standards and promoting the internationalization of "Chongqing Made" standards.
