China’s Chongqing, Belarus to Enhance Collaboration in Exhibition Activities

Chongqing - On January 31st, Li Mingquan, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, engaged in working talks with Dzmitry Yemelyanau, Consul General of Belarus in Chongqing, exchanging views on events about the continuous promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Chongqing and Belarus, and inviting Belarus to actively participate in Chongqing's major large-scale international exhibition activities in 2024.

Li Mingquan emphasized the fruitful outcomes of Chongqing-Belarus cooperation in 2023 under the framework of the "China-Belarus Local Cooperation Year." In the new year, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government will continue to maintain a close relationship with the Belarus Consulate in Chongqing and promote practical cooperation in economy, trade, humanities, and other areas. 

Li expressed the hope that Belarus would leverage the platform provided by Chongqing's major international events to elevate bilateral exchanges and cooperation to new heights, contributing to the comprehensive development of the all-weather strategic partnership between the two countries.

Having established a strong foundation for cooperation with Chongqing, Dzmitry Yemelyanau said that Belarus would make full use of the consulate as a bridge to further strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in economics, trade, humanities, scientific, technological innovation, and other fields.
