Chongqing - A visit to Changan Automobile's facility in the Liangjiang New Area reveals local businesses ushering in the new year with a surge in productivity and an ambitious outlook for progress.
In the factory's stamping workshop, sophisticated automation allows machines to execute 15 actions per minute, transforming sheets of metal into car body components through a series of processes. The buzz of the assembly line is palpable, with the production of vehicles like the Avatr 11, Avatr 12, and Deepal SL03.

"On our first day back, the team's enthusiasm for their tasks set a strong foundation for our objectives, creating a positive momentum for the year," he said.
In Liangjiang's Longsheng New City, the Chongqing Ganfeng Lithium Technology Industrial Park stands as China's leading solid-state battery production facility. Here, a complete battery pack is assembled every four minutes, demonstrating the park's cutting-edge manufacturing prowess.
"Chongqing is a crucial center for the production of new energy vehicles across the country, accompanied by a significant demand for batteries," mentioned a spokesperson from Chongqing Ganfeng Power Technology Co., Ltd. "To meet this need, we restarted production on the fourth day of the Spring Festival, with over 300 employees steadily resuming work."
The automation level of Ganfeng's production line has achieved 90%, guaranteeing both high efficiency and product quality. At full operation, the facility's output is anticipated to hit 20GWh, valued at approximately 15 billion yuan (about 2.08 billion U.S. dollars).
Chongqing Ganfeng Power Technology Co., Ltd. is currently in collaboration with Seres and Dongfeng Motor, streamlining the delivery of a range of power batteries for passenger and commercial vehicles.
