Chongqing—The 45th Bangkok International Motor Show featured Changan Automobile, which recently unveiled its new model, Lumin, extended battery versions of the DEEPAL S07 and L07, and showcased its prominent products, the CD701 and Avatr 11.

Lumin EV, Changan's second vehicle in Thailand, combines a compact design and smart tech with a CATL battery, achieving a 301 km NEDC range and DC fast charging. L and LDC models are priced at 499,000 and 479,000 Thai Baht, respectively. Thai buyers have affectionately dubbed it "sleepy eye" for its charming looks and bright colors.
The newly introduced extended-range versions of the DEEPAL are designed to meet Thai users' varied and complex mobility requirements.
On the evening of March 25, Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga, visited the Changan Automobile booth. There, he experienced the CD701, Avatr 11, DEEPAL, and Lumin firsthand and commended the CD701's design and the Avatr 11's luxury features.
Shen Xinghua, General Manager of Changan Automobile's Southeast Asia Business Division and Changan Automobile Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., also briefed the attending guests and media on the progress of the Rayong factory in Thailand, local supply chain cooperation, marketing service network layout, and future product plans, showcasing the brand's regional growth.
