Honduras to Cultivate Scientific, Technological Talents with Chongqing | Insights

Chongqing - Salvador Moncada, Ambassador of Honduras to China, gave high priority on education, which is committed to nurturing highly skilled professionals in science and technology in Chongqing, Southwest China. 

This message was shared during an exclusive interview with Bridging News on May 18. Moncada is optimistic that stronger educational ties with Chongqing, a leader in science and technology education, will beneficially impact professional training in Honduras.

Moncada also emphasized the importance of green energy as a pivotal industry for bilateral relations. With Honduras striving to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and enhance its green energy capabilities, he sees valuable opportunities for increased exchanges with China in this field.

Citing the rapidly evolving automobile industry in Chongqing as a model, Moncada discussed its potential to influence Honduras' transportation infrastructure, particularly in terms of public transport development.

Concluding his remarks, Moncada praised the Belt and Road Initiative for its role in fostering collaboration among participating countries, reaffirming his strong support for the initiative.
