Chongqing—The Sixth Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) officially kicked off at the Chongqing International Expo Center today. This year's event showcases cutting-edge technology and innovations and emphasizes visitors' everyday experiences, featuring exhibits closely related to daily life.
The Dianjiang exhibit features an intricate housing model, which, upon closer inspection, reveals itself as a prefabricated building. These structures, primarily used in new rural construction, are assembled on-site from factory-made components, offering energy efficiency, time savings, and environmental friendliness advantages.
At the Changhong booth, a 115-cun (about 151 inches) ultra-large television captured much attention. This flagship product, newly launched this year, caters to various entertainment needs such as binge-watching, sports viewing, and gaming. The Jiangbei exhibit presented Haier's latest high-end embedded dishwasher, produced at their Chongqing factory, which serves both domestic and international markets.
Reflecting the current camping trend, the Dazhu exhibit showcased a new energy pickup RV featuring a stylish design and comprehensive equipment, including a high roof and new energy power. The Xinyuan Auto exhibit displayed the E3L camping car, which is robust in appearance and equipped with an awning, outdoor furniture, and kitchen facilities, which are ideal for short-term camping enthusiasts.

At the Air China booth, visitors can experience a flight simulator that replicates the pilot’s seat, allowing them to simulate takeoffs and landings. Lucky visitors, selected through a draw, will experience being a pilot under staff guidance.
In the central hall, Chongqing’s exhibit featured AR/MR products from Linkon Technology. These allow users to explore the metaverse and virtually visit places like the Sanxingdui Ruins and Jiangxi Qianhu Miao Village.

Food enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy. The N2 hall displays various ready-to-eat Chongqing noodles and hotpot products. Districts and counties like Rongchang, Wuxi, Jiangjin, and Fengdu offer unique local specialties for purchase. For example, Tongnan’s exhibit features a large lemon sculpture surrounded by lemon-based products, leaving a lasting impression.
As a strategic partner of WCIFIT, Kweichow Moutai Group has a prominent presence in N1 Hall. Visitors can view and purchase Moutai’s range of liquor products, ice cream, and creative blind box items.
International exhibits also feature a variety of imported goods. Belarus, the guest of honor, brings its iconic agricultural products like flaxseed oil and honey. Companies from 19 countries, including the UK, USA, Russia, Italy, South Korea, Australia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, will showcase their national specialties, such as coffee and fruits, to Chinese consumers.
The Sixth WCIFIT promises a rich, immersive experience, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy the latest technology, lifestyle, and international trade.
