Chongqing - The Sixth Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) commenced Thursday at the Chongqing International Expo Center. Among the standout exhibits, advanced robots and other technological innovations take center stage, underscoring Chongqing's important role in the future of manufacturing.
This year’s WCIFIT, themed "New Western China, New Manufacturing, New Services," features 11 exhibition halls across four main areas: Comprehensive Image, Modern Services, Modern Manufacturing, and International and Regional Cooperation, covering a total area of 130,000 square meters. The focus is on showcasing the latest achievements, industries, technologies, scenarios, and trends from Chongqing, neighboring provincial-level regions, and international partner cities.
Highlighting advanced robotics
The highlight of this year's WCIFIT is the assembly of high-tech robots demonstrating their advanced capabilities. As a major manufacturing hub in China, Chongqing's emphasis on "New Manufacturing" is evident with a range of cutting-edge robotic technologies on display.
Featured at the Jiangjin booth, this Lanjiang Technology's orchard multifunctional robot can handle tasks such as spraying, weeding, and transporting. It boasts intelligent navigation, real-time spray adjustment, and automatic return for replenishment. This robot has been exported to over ten countries, including the USA, France, Australia, and Russia.
Displayed at the Yubei booth, the 3D vision positioning 6-axis robot from Guoqi Zhimou (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd. uses 3D imaging technology to capture high-precision 3D data. It analyzes objects' shape, size, and coordinates to guide the robot in precise and autonomous grabbing, featuring intelligent analysis, path planning, and collision avoidance.
Sevnce Robotics' explosion-proof quadruped robot is the world’s first mass-produced quadruped robot with certification. Its core components are made from materials such as titanium alloy. The robot has adaptive learning and high-precision image capabilities. It is designed for autonomous inspections in complex industrial environments, particularly in chemical plants.
Other technological innovations
In addition to robotics, other technological advancements are also showcased.
