2024 World Intelligence Expo to Open with Key Chongqing Highlights

Chongqing -The 2024 World Intelligence Expo, scheduled for June 20 to 23, will be held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Tianjin, according to a press conference on June 12.

Jointly organized by the Tianjin Municipal Government and Chongqing Municipal Government, the Expo will rotate between the two cities, with Tianjin hosting the inaugural event this year.

The Expo will feature ten major themes, including AI, intelligent connected vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and robotics. Participants include Fortune 500 companies, well-known foreign enterprises, central enterprises, leading private firms, and prestigious universities and research institutions, ensuring a diverse lineup.

As a co-organizer, Chongqing will showcase its latest achievements in intelligent connected vehicles, next-generation electronic information manufacturing, advanced materials, and technological innovation.

According to Quan Wei, deputy secretary-general of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the city will focus on its "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system and create a special Chongqing-themed exhibition area.

Representatives from notable Chongqing enterprises like Changan Automobile and GYMD Digital Technology will showcase cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and products. Additionally, companies like ZonSen Group, 360humi, and Seres will have independent exhibition areas to display their innovations.

Quan stated that in 2023, Chongqing's industrial output surpassed 2.6 trillion yuan, with the intelligent connected vehicle, next-generation electronic information manufacturing, and advanced materials industries quickly developing into trillion-yuan clusters.

The Expo will feature a range of cutting-edge technologies and products worldwide.

The "Artificial Intelligence Large Model Exhibition Group" will feature over 40 renowned models, including Baidu's Wenxin Yiyan, Alibaba Cloud's Tongyi, and iFlytek's Xinghuo. These models will showcase advancements in text and image generation, multi-modal processing, parameter scale expansion, and their effectiveness in various industries.

To boost interactivity, the Expo will feature intelligent competitions, including the Asia-Pacific Robotics World Cup Tianjin International Invitational Tournament. This event, showcasing the top robotics competition in the Asia-Pacific region, will feature teams from countries such as Japan and Singapore, with over 800 participants expected.

Additionally, the Expo emphasizes green and low-carbon initiatives, with 100% "green electricity" powering the venue, promoting the deep integration of intelligent industries with green energy.

Building on the success of the inaugural Expo in Tianjin, Chongqing will host the second World Intelligence Expo in 2025. The event will provide deeper insights into intelligent industry trends, share innovative achievements, and collaboratively shape a promising future for the digital economy.
