Gao Weiqiong, Chairwoman of Weijin, and Luo Feng, Head of Yifeng, visited several medical institutions, health product associations, banks, and universities in Singapore together. They plan to initiate diverse cooperation between Singapore and China.
Ganoderma spore powder, known for its rich content of active ingredients like Ganoderma polysaccharides, is already popular. With its strong appreciation for Chinese traditional culture and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the Singaporean public highly values it, indicating favorable conditions for its market presence in Singapore.
TCM has deep cultural roots in Singapore, where a significant portion of the population is of Chinese descent and maintains traditional health practices. About half of Singapore's population has visited a TCM practitioner, reflecting its widespread acceptance.
Chongqing is one of China's main production areas for traditional Chinese medicinal materials. Its abundant forestry resources give it a natural advantage in developing the Ganoderma industry. Gao explained, "Our thousand-acre Ganoderma is grown under the forest canopy, simulating a wild environment."
Luo noted that research shows Ganoderma spore powder in Singapore mainly comes from Changbai Mountain in China, Malaysia, and Thailand, where it is cultivated in simulated wild environments. He highlighted the industry's positive response and expressed confidence in the potential for Chongqing's Ganoderma spore powder to enter the Singapore market successfully.
Chongqing's Ganoderma spore powder is capitalizing on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) to improve product quality and streamline overseas distribution channels, enhancing its presence in the international market.

While exporting Ganoderma spore powder to Singapore, Weijin also fosters local employment and supports rural revitalization. Through training programs led by female entrepreneurs, Weijin empowers nearly a thousand women with planting techniques and employs almost a hundred women left behind in rural areas.
