Leading the initiative, Linking Fresh owns the beef shipment. With 30 years in the industry, it has evolved from China's top frozen food trader to a digital trading platform, offering direct procurement, B2B orders, supply chain management, and cold chain logistics, supported by cloud-based services like SaaS software and risk management.

Linking Fresh operates in over 30 countries with nearly 300 suppliers and 26,000 trader partnerships. It collaborates with over 100 food service providers, e-commerce platforms, and banks to support trading activities. Its robust infrastructure includes cloud factories, cold storage, and cold-chain vehicles for handling imported frozen goods.

The park and Linking Fresh cooperation combines logistics and customs advantages with extensive network expertise, aiming to build a robust cold chain trading center in Chongqing and enhance meat importation.

"Future shipments will see 10-20 containers of beef arriving at the Tuanjiecun Railway Station through the China-Europe freight train and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. As the cooperation matures, we plan to scale up import volumes, further solidifying Chongqing's role in the global meat trade," said Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park spokesperson.

Planned at the Western China Cold Chain Development Annual Meeting in May, this project leverages the Logistics Hub Park's resources to enhance meat distribution and trading, setting a new industry standard.

The announcement attracted significant interest from government, industry associations, and businesses. By early July, the park established the Chongqing Cold Chain Food Import and Export Specialized Committee to strengthen collaboration and extend the project's influence.
