In recent years, Yiwu has made significant strides in digital transformation and integration of digital technology with the real economy. Changshou District has developed a robust multimodal transport system that includes railways, highways, waterways, and pipelines. It features regular trains directly connecting to the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) and boasts a comprehensive modern industrial system.

The industrial park will include an Exhibition and Trade Center, a Digital Trade Data Center, a Training and Incubation Center, a Settlement Service Center, and a Base Warehouse. It aims to become an international trade complex integrating functions such as digital trading, business incubation, and foreign exchange settlement. Currently, the initial setups for trading scenarios, order placement, contract fulfillment, and talent training and incubation have been completed.

The construction of the industrial park is a constructive attempt to explore the integration of the real economy and the digital economy.

On the one hand, the Exhibition and Trade Center will integrate the stable supply-chain commodities from the Yiwu International Trade Market. Furthermore, it plans to attract high-quality supply-chain enterprises from across the country to establish a base for goods exhibition, gathering, and distribution in China's central and western regions.

On the other hand, the Digital Trade Data Center will realize data interconnection between market procurement networked information platforms, cross-border e-commerce comprehensive service platforms, and single windows in Chongqing and Yiwu based on digital technology.

Through the collection of trade data from various platforms, it will be possible to visualize the whole-chain data of international trade, trace trade orders, and substantiate each entity's value acquisition, thereby empowering compliance for taxation, exchange settlement, and other related aspects.

The industrial park currently hosts 275 suppliers from Yiwu, showcasing goods across 26 major categories of Yiwu's small commodities and over 6,000 Stock Keeping Units. Additionally, it has signed agreements with international trade service enterprises and high-quality cross-border e-commerce training and incubation organizations in Yiwu.
