Chongqing - Chongqing Airlines announced on January 28 that it will launch and resume six international and regional routes in 2026, enhancing connectivity with key destinations in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, as revealed at the airline's route promotion conference in Chongqing.

The routes will link Chongqing with Sabah, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong, aiming to help build a more efficient “four-hour international and regional aviation circle” and support the city’s development as an international comprehensive transportation hub.
The direct flight between Chongqing and Sabah is scheduled to commence on March 19. The outbound flight, CZ2193, will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 7:00 p.m. and arriving in Sabah at 11:15 p.m. The return flight, CZ2194, will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Sabah at 12:30 a.m. and arriving in Chongqing at 5:10 a.m.
The direct Chongqing–Penang route is scheduled to open on April 8. Outbound flight CZ2195 will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Chongqing at 7:50 p.m. and arriving in Penang at 12:30 a.m. the following day. The return flight, CZ2196, will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing Penang at 1:30 a.m. and arriving in Chongqing at 5:50 a.m.
The Chongqing–Kuala Lumpur route is also scheduled to begin on April 8. Outbound flight CZ2191 will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Chongqing at 9:45 p.m. and arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 2:30 a.m. the following day. The return flight, CZ2192, will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing Kuala Lumpur at 3:30 a.m. and arriving in Chongqing at 8:25 a.m.
Flights between Chongqing and Hong Kong will commence on March 29. Outbound flight CZ2061 will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Chongqing at 10:00 a.m. and arriving in Hong Kong at 12:20 p.m. The return flight, CZ2062, will operate on the same days, departing Hong Kong at 1:25 p.m. and arriving in Chongqing at 3:45 p.m.(All flight schedules are based on local time.)
In addition, the Chongqing–Bangkok and Chongqing–Ho Chi Minh City routes are scheduled to resume operations on February 1 and February 3, respectively, as international air travel continues to recover.
With the six routes set to enter service gradually, Chongqing Airlines’ international network will expand to cover destinations including Singapore, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, offering travelers a wider range of international and regional flight options.
