Chongqing - Two Chongqing companies have been recognized in Forbes China's 2026 artificial intelligence technology rankings, according to the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission on May 22.
THESEUS was named to the 2026 Forbes China Top 50 AI Technology Enterprises list, while Sevnce Robotics was recognized as a benchmark company for AI globalization in a subcategory of the ranking.
The announcement comes as Chongqing promotes artificial intelligence as part of its manufacturing upgrade. During the just-concluded 8th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT), both companies presented technologies linked to intelligent manufacturing, industrial safety, and advanced sensing.

THESEUS's core technology is spatial computing intelligent imaging, a link between the digital and physical worlds. The technology is designed for sectors including semiconductors, new energy vehicles, intelligent assisted driving, low-altitude flight, and embodied intelligence.
At the fair, THESEUS released a matrix of spatial intelligent camera products. Three products were displayed at the Chongqing Pavilion: the SIC-PV-200 vehicle-mounted spatial intelligent camera, the SIC-UAV-500 airborne spatial intelligent camera, and the SIC-MR-30 micro spatial intelligent camera.
Mao Ben, senior vice president of THESEUS, said at a matchmaking event that the company's breakthrough lies in integrating visual imaging and laser ranging at the hardware level.
"With one optical path, one physical signal, and one sensor, we can simultaneously output high-precision distance information and rich semantic information," Mao said.
According to the company, the vehicle-mounted camera can maintain stable imaging in fog, heavy rain, and strong light. It can identify centimeter-level objects from more than 200 meters away, including small targets such as inverted traffic cones and cardboard boxes. Its vehicle-mounted and airborne cameras have completed batch verification with several automakers and industrial drone companies.
Sevnce Robotics, the other Chongqing company recognized by Forbes China, is a high-tech enterprise focused on special-purpose robots. Its products are developed for industries including oil, petrochemicals, natural gas, and chemicals, where robots can replace workers in high-risk environments involving temperature extremes, salt fog corrosion, flammable and explosive materials, and toxic or hazardous conditions.

During the fair, the company released a new rail-mounted inspection robot for coal mines. Designed for underground coal mine conditions, the robot uses a composite explosion-proof structure with both flameproof protection and intrinsically safe explosion-proof features. It meets Class I mining explosion-proof standards and has an IP66 protection rating for dusty, humid, and mist-filled underground environments.
The robot can conduct autonomous inspections, avoid obstacles, recharge itself, return with one command, issue sound and light alarms, support voice intercom, and enable remote monitoring. The company said the product can replace workers in high-risk, repetitive inspection tasks and improve mine safety management and operating efficiency.
