Chongqing International Marathon

The Chongqing International Marathon is an annual marathon 42 km race held on the third weekend of March in Chongqing, China. The race was first held in 2011 and has been held every year. It is the first international marathon ever to be held in the southwest of China.

In the 2018 race, a total number of 10,000 people finished the full marathon, and more than 5000 people finished the half marathon. In addition, the event also offered mini-marathon and parent-child marathon for non-professionals and visitors.

This annual sport event takes place alongside the avenues by the south bank of Yangtze River, which has attracted competitors from all over the world.

For the Full Marathon, the age is limit is 20 and 65 years old, and for the Half Marathon, between 16 and 65 years old.
