How Waste Slag Yard Turned into Leisure Camp

The waste slag yard in the Lengshui service area of G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County in Chongqing, has been turned into a leisure and holiday camp.

The Lengshui service area in the past was a wasteland, lifeless.

The ecological environment and the surrounding areas have been significantly improved through governance and restoration. The coverage rate of forests and grasslands has exceeded 80 percent.

What's more, the camp also provides exclusive poverty alleviation booths for Lengshui Town and Zhongyi Village in Shizhu County to promote tourism development. Here you can see various styles of accommodation huts built along the mountains.
